Free stays free
Eligible new accounts start with a 30-day Trial automatically on first verified sign-in. Afterwards, use the Free plan without a subscription or choose Premium.
Keep your field records private, choose the plan that suits you, and decide what to share. These terms explain how Cairnory works and what you can expect from us.
Cairnory is provided by NOILYM LIMITED. These terms apply when you accept them for your account. Creating an account does not start a paid subscription: you pay for Premium only when you confirm a purchase.
Eligible new accounts start with a 30-day Trial automatically on first verified sign-in. Afterwards, use the Free plan without a subscription or choose Premium.
One payment each year. Renews automatically until you cancel in Google Play.
Saved records remain readable when Trial or Premium ends. Export and deletion remain available.
You must be 18 or over to use Cairnory, including private observations and Hunters’ Hall. Give accurate account information, keep access to your sign-in email or Google account secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not impersonate another person or use their account without permission.
Use a compatible Android device and the current supported app, or a current browser with JavaScript enabled. The Android app requires Android 7.0 or later; Google Play shows device compatibility. Internet access is needed for sign-in, syncing, purchases, weather and online maps. Device permissions for photos, camera, microphone, location and notifications are optional; manual entry remains available. Your network provider may charge for data.
Do not access another person’s private records, bypass security or plan controls, introduce malware, or disrupt the service. Cairnory’s software, branding and original guide content belong to NOILYM LIMITED or its licensors. You may use them through Cairnory for its intended purpose; using the app does not transfer those rights to you.
Seasons and full illustrated species guides require Trial or Premium. Free does not include adding new private photos or saved locations, fetching weather, personal statistics, adding to My Trophy Room, or sharing and giving Stones in Hunters’ Hall.
The monthly hunt allowance uses the calendar month for your selected Hunting Country, shown in Account. A past hunt uses the allowance for the month in which you add it, not the historical event date. Deleting a hunt does not restore that allowance.
Eligible accounts receive one Trial automatically at their first verified sign-in. It runs for 30 consecutive days (720 hours) from activation, with no card, no automatic payment and no automatic conversion to a paid subscription. Reinstalling the app or signing in again does not restart it.
The Trial provides the Premium features listed below for its full duration, including unlimited hunts and animal records and up to three private photos per animal record or observation sighting. There is no total Trial quota for animal records, photos or Hall publications. Ordinary feature limits and community rules still apply.
Premium includes everything in Free, plus:
When Trial or Premium ends, your account returns to Free. Your saved records, photos and captured weather remain readable, and export and deletion remain available. You can finish a hunt already in progress with the access it had when it started. New hunts follow your current plan; editing completed hunting records requires Trial or Premium. Ending a plan does not itself delete your records.
Premium is purchased in the Android app through Google Play. The annual prices for new purchases in this version are €30 in Ireland and £24.49 in the United Kingdom, including applicable local taxes. These are equivalent to €2.50 or approximately £2.04 per month, respectively, but the full annual amount is billed in one payment; this is not a monthly payment plan.
Google Play shows the applicable price, currency, billing period and renewal terms before you confirm. Your Play account and store country determine the offered price; changing Hunting Country in Cairnory does not change it.
The subscription renews automatically every year unless you cancel before renewal. Google Play charges the payment method on your Play account. Its purchase and billing terms also apply. NOILYM LIMITED remains responsible for providing Cairnory and meeting its obligations to you.
We activate Premium after a successful purchase is confirmed by Google Play; access then follows the confirmed subscription status. Keep the receipt and use the Cairnory account linked to the purchase. If access is missing, open Account → Your plan and choose Restore purchases with the purchasing Google account, or contact us. Do not buy again just to resolve an access problem.
Any change to your renewal price will be notified in advance, with any consent required by law or Google Play. You can cancel before the new price applies. A price change does not increase the charge for an annual period you have already paid for.
Open Account → Your plan → Manage subscription → Manage in Google Play, or go directly to your Google Play subscriptions. Select Cairnory Premium and cancel the subscription. Sign in to the Google account that made the purchase.
After cancellation, Premium normally continues until the end of the paid period. Cancelling renewal does not by itself refund that period. A refund, statutory termination or a lawful account restriction may end access earlier.
Uninstalling Cairnory, signing out or deleting your Cairnory account does not cancel your Google Play subscription. Cancel renewal separately in Google Play. You do not need to delete your records to stop paying.
Consumers in Ireland and the UK have a 14-day cooling-off right for an initial Premium digital-service purchase. The period expires 14 days after the day you enter into the purchase contract. You can withdraw without giving a reason by sending us a clear statement before that deadline, or using Google Play’s refund request process. Starting to use Cairnory does not by itself waive that right.
Refunds are handled under applicable law and Google Play’s refund policy. Where a refund is due following statutory withdrawal, it must be made without undue delay and within 14 days of the withdrawal notice, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, with no refund fee. We will not deduct for service already supplied unless the law permits it and all required conditions have been met.
After the cooling-off period, stopping renewal normally does not create a right to a partial refund for an unused part of the year. Your rights when a service is faulty, unavailable or not as described still apply. Contact us with your account email, purchase date and Google Play order reference if you need help; do not send card details.
You can use this form, but an email or any other clear withdrawal statement is enough. Send it before the cooling-off deadline.

You keep the rights you have in your photos, notes and other content. You give us and our service providers limited permission to store, process, format and display it as needed to provide your requested features, keep Cairnory secure, and handle backups, exports and deletion. If you choose to publish in Hall, that permission also covers showing the separate Hall copy to other members and moderating it.
Your private records are not automatically published. These terms do not give us permission to use your private photos in advertising. Our Privacy policy and notice explains how we process personal data and how long relevant copies remain.
Upload only material you are entitled to use. Respect others’ privacy and obtain any necessary permissions for people appearing in photos. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive or malicious content.
Hall is optional and visible to signed-in members. Before using it, confirm you are 18 or over and accept the community rules shown in the app. Trial and Premium allow eligible sharing and Stones; Free allows browsing.
Review the chosen photo and selected details in the preview. Sharing creates a separate Hall copy with your Hall nickname, optional avatar, publication date and reactions. Saved location fields and private notes are not included. A photo itself may reveal people or places. You can withdraw your post without deleting the private source, but cannot recall screenshots or copies other members have already made.
Do not share graphic injuries, suffering, cruelty, sexual content, hate, threats, harassment, illegal activity, unsafe firearm handling, another person’s private information, or photos of recognisable people under 18. Obtain permission from any recognisable adults. Hall must not be used to sell firearms, ammunition or other regulated goods.
We use automated image checks and may review shared content and reports. Use Report for a possible rule breach, or Block member to stop seeing a member’s posts. Reporting hides the post for the reporter immediately. Serious or multiple independent reports can temporarily hide it more widely while it is reviewed.
We may hide or remove content or restrict Hall access where reasonably necessary to enforce the rules, address unlawful content or protect users. For a review of a decision, an appeal or a complaint, contact info@cairnory.com and identify the post or decision. Your statutory complaint and redress rights remain. Reporting is not an emergency service.
Cairnory helps you record and understand your time outdoors. A species listing, season status or guide does not grant permission to hunt or confirm that an activity is lawful. Check current official rules for the location, species, date and method, and obtain the required licences and land permissions. Take account of local restrictions and animal-welfare requirements.
Weather, daylight, maps and location estimates can be approximate, delayed or unavailable. Use appropriate independent checks for a safety-critical decision. Cairnory is not an emergency, rescue or navigation service. It does not submit official hunting returns unless a feature expressly says it does; you remain responsible for required reporting.
We will provide Cairnory with reasonable care and skill and supply updates, including security updates, required by applicable law. Maintenance, faults and events outside our reasonable control can interrupt access. Keep supported app and device updates installed; we will explain any update needed to keep the service working as agreed.
We may make proportionate changes needed to meet a legal requirement, address a security risk, fix a fault, or maintain compatibility with supported devices and services. Such changes will not create an extra charge. We will explain changes clearly and give reasonable advance notice where they adversely affect your use, together with any right to keep the unchanged service or end the contract without charge.
Where Irish law gives you a right to terminate because a digital-service modification adversely affects access or use beyond a minor impact, you may exercise it within 30 days of the modification or receiving notice, whichever is later, unless a lawful exception applies. Other mandatory local rights remain. Urgent legal or security action will be explained as soon as reasonably possible.
Changes to these terms will be limited to reflecting those permitted service changes, changes in law, or corrections that do not reduce your rights. Other material contractual changes require your agreement. We will identify the revised version and how it affects you; continued use alone will not be treated as agreement to an unapproved new charge.
You can stop using Cairnory, use Free after Premium ends, or request an export or account deletion in Account. Export records you want to keep before confirming account deletion: confirmation ends normal access and prevents new exports. The deletion screen and Privacy policy explain the seven-day grace period and cancellation controls. Help outside the app is available on our account-deletion page.
We may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, a security threat or a legal requirement. Restrictions should be proportionate to the issue. Where lawful and safe, we will explain the reason, give you a chance to resolve it and allow retrieval of your private records. Urgent risks may require immediate action. Contact us to challenge a restriction.
If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable, provide an opportunity to export your records, and honour any rights to a refund for paid service not provided. Ending access does not remove any mandatory consumer remedy.
If Cairnory does not work as agreed, contact us so we can investigate and put it right. Applicable consumer law may entitle you to correction without charge, a price reduction or termination and a refund. You do not need to finish our complaints process before exercising a legal right.
We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law. We are not responsible for losses we did not cause. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or removes your mandatory consumer rights.
These terms do not make you responsible for our mistakes or require you to give up a statutory remedy because Google Play handles the payment.
